Greg Powers is the Founder and President of Strategic Advisory Services at Red Brick. Since launching the firm in 2008, he has built a nationally respected advisory practice known for navigating complex capital programs with clarity, discipline, and results.
With more than 35 years of industry experience, Greg brings deep expertise in cost and schedule control, conflict resolution, entitlements, and forensic analysis. His background includes senior leadership roles with a regional construction firm and an ENR Top 26 consulting company, along with extensive experience as a General Contractor, Owner’s Representative, and Program and Project Manager.
A licensed California Class A Contractor since 1992, Greg has overseen more than $3 billion in development across mixed-use, aviation, healthcare, education, industrial, utilities, and infrastructure sectors. He is frequently retained as an expert in cost, schedule, and standard of care.
Greg also brings public-sector perspective from his service as a Planning Commissioner for the City of Dana Point. He holds degrees in Finance and Real Estate from California State University, Northridge, and a master’s degree in Negotiation and Dispute Resolution from Creighton University.
